The year 2020 ushered in, sadly, the coronavirus pandemic and the Great Online Pivot. Below is a slide deck one one (not the only way) to organize a mixed synchronous/asynchronous course. The ideas apply broadly, but the example used is Calculus 2 (quarter system). Some keys are to use a handout as the vehicle for the different learning modalities, and to use mastery-based grading.
